Côté Garonne

Good food at a pretty reasonable price. They've got a few different menus (formules) to choose from and they're not that expensive, considering that it's nicely grilled meat. Had the profiteroles for dessert and they were fantastic. Wide variety of different French wines from various regions.

We had a great meal here. Lovely staff, historical buildings cleverly adapted and updated. Huge charcoal grill. Dining inside upstairs or downstairs, outside there is an awning to keep the weather off, and a lot of happy customers. Aussie diners need to remember that French chefs prefer to cook the meat rarer than we're used to. Now on the tram, so transport is easy.

They have a good menu and you should be able to walk away without the feeling of wasting your money. I would recommend if you’re looking for non fancy food. Salade du Sud Ouest, Foie gras and Parillade de viande were great, but the Snails (Bulot) were a bit too salty/spicy. As of the service, we felt a bit ignored, I think it was because the restaurant was full..

Warm greeting in every sense. The proprietor greeted us and explained the menu selections, then had us stand near the open wood cooking fire to warm up. Even though this was Friday, a typically busy night, and we had no reservations we were promptly seated by staff who welcomed us. We had two dishes - casconnade(?) du porc (pork shoulder), et les noix St.Jacques (scallops). Both dishes had a perfect cook. The meal started with included tapenade des olives. Superb! The pork came with sautéed potato pieces and caramelized onions. The scallops with an incredibly delicious and rich risotto. Dinner for two (no alcohol) was less than 50€ and well worth it. Prices posted included tax and tip.

I ordered the white fish. Great taste and loved that they are grilling the food over open flames. Very nice staff and nice place.

We are so happy that we came to this restaurant. Firstly we don't speak french however the staff were so welcoming and spoke to us in English so well. The moment we stepped in we felt at home, that we were valued customers. The food was out of this world. We decided to go all out for the night as it was our last night. Thank you to the staff who were just wonderful if we come back we'll come back to the restaurant also we were so happy to see an English side of the menu, it helps rather than to try and translate with our phones! Thank you again for the wonderful service and food!

We had a lovely meal here, with great service. All six of us enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. The staff were pleasant and helpful, especially given that we were English speaking, trying hard to order in broken French.

Picked this spot as we wanted to have a quick hour Toulouse stop and try local fare. Well priced set menus. My pork ribs was a little on the dry side, but an extra side of sauce, improved it, for me. Chilled indoor and lovely outdoor seating areas available. Good looking, young and friendly team of servers was a nice plus
